Art Nouveau Egyptian Catwoman

This is my second entry for 's Miss Gotham Contest. Round two was costume redesign.

I had no idea what to do at first, and I almost went for manga heroine Catwoman, but in the end I didn't and I'm glad because 's lovely Huntress already takes care of that kind of approach.

So I started thinking...Catwoman...cats...Egypt. I did the outline yesterday night and I almost went for regular cel-shading coloring but then the Egypt theme and the pose made me think of art nouveau, so I decided to have a little fun with the picture. I have never done anything art nouveau so I'm not sure how it came out, but the overall effect is satisfying enough and I had a lot of fun so I'll definitely experiment this style more.
