My Fairy Tales Collection [link]

NOTE: this looks better on darker monitors (I use +53 brightness). It should look decent on monitors that use up to a 80% brightness percentage. It probably looks awful with more than +80 brightness.

One of my new year's resolutions is to read J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan. I love the story, but I've only seen adaptations and none of them thoroughly satisfied me, although I love the visual style of the 2003 movie (which was an inspiration for this piece) and I like the Disney version.

I like how this came out, but I'm afraid it is a little too dark. I tend to go with darker colors because I know my works usually look brighter on other monitors (read above), but this time I may have gone a little too far.

I could not find any teenage model on DA that suited my intended approach to the character, so Peter is a random model I found through Google. I know that's a rather wrong thing to do, using Google pictures and not stock images, but the models on DA were either too old, too young or looked too "modern" for my version of Peter. This nameless guy here is perfect, IMO.
