Well, it's not going to be filmed or anything. It's a film treatment which means a detailed synopsis with some camera directions and some lines of dialogue. It's a very fun game actually, many people send films. I've played 6 or 7 times already.

The greatest choice ever!

Let me see, you got to "build" a movie with the whole crew and story?
Cool!
Congratz!

My first two movies were complete disasters (an adaptation of the Italian novel I Promessi Sposi directed by Martin Scorsese and an original comedy directed by James L. Brooks). I started getting good reviews with my third (you get to write and receive reviews too!), a very lose adaptation of the song Spirit of the Sea by Blackmore's Night, directed by Jean Pierre Jeunet. I got nominations for costumes, score and art direction and won for cinematography.

The 4th movie was a mild success. It was an original drama, Winter Planet directed by Kenneth Lonergan, and I got nommed for best actress (Kelly Macdonald), best supp. actor (Danny Glover) and best cinematography and I won for best song (you can write your own song lyrics, too).

I received BP nominations with my 5th, 6th and 7th movies. The first one was an adaptation of Jonathan Safran Foer's novel Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, for which I was nominated for BP, best director (Miranda July), and won best editing and adapted screenplay. The second was a lose adaptation of a short story called The Man Who Married Himself, directed by Michel Gondry, I won adapted screenplay again and was nominated for BP, best actor (Casey Affleck), best supp. actress (Susan Egan), best editing and best song. The last time I was nominated for BP was for an original French melodrama about a young gay couple, directed by Olivier Assayas, and I won best actor (Louis Garrell) and was nominated for BP, best screenplay, cinematography and supp. actor (Joseph Gordon Levitt).

It's a lot of fun. There are dozens of entries each festival, and the people are great.

Woah! You make more movies than Spilberg! HAhahaha

I can see that you guys take it seriously! You create, their write their reviews and then award! Awesome project. It is too bad that my knowledge about movies aren't that vast. If someday you need help with a poster or something like it, call me ;)
